Being a teen can be challenging. With growing self- awareness accompanied by increased social, academic and family demands, teens are vulnerable to pressure, distress and self-criticism.
Making Friends with Yourself: A Mindful Self Compassion Program for Teens
An 8-week research supported program designed to help teens learn resources that may help them cope in difficult times. This program combines exercises in mindfulness, art, movement, and multi media to cultivate kindness, insight, self-awareness, empathy, emotional regulation and resilience. Participants will learn how to calm their minds, reduce stress in their bodies, and befriend themselves. Learn more about the program here https://centerformsc.org/msc-teens-adults/
